Transfer Windows 7 to New Computer

Hi, How would you transfer complete Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit installation from old computer with PATA HDD to New computer with SATA HDD?
Any info would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,

If either has a WD or Seagate HD I'd use Acronis premium free cloning/imaging suite to clone or image it over, otherwise use Win7 built-in imaging or Macrium - Image your system

Be sure to include MBR and track 0 if asked, have Win7 installer or Repair CD standing by in case it won't start to run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times after making sure Win7 or it's 100mb System REserved (preferred) is marked Active. Mark Partition Active

Another option would be to use the Migrate OS to SSD or HDD feature in the free version of Aomei Partition Master. I have used it a number of times and it has always worked very well.

I would make a system image using Macrium and restore the image to your new drive.
