From reading through those other posts I see one fatal flaw in your process to install 8. You partitioned your hdd and then deleted your primary partition to keep the other. The whole premise of partitioning a drive is to keep your primary intact and used the extended partition to install a trial OS. This way if something happens on the partitioned drive it wont effect your primary drive.
Theoretically, what you've done you should be able to reformat (both primary and partitions) and reinstall your OS.
If you could please fill in your system specs in your user profile area, this would help a great deal.
I updated my system specs with all the information that i know.
The graphics card is integrated
Thanks for any help
Since this is retail PC, does it still have the hidden partition (D drive) with the recovery OS on it. There should also be some proprietary software that allows you to reset PC to factory condition. I would use that and reset the PC back to factory condition.
I dont know if it still have that D partition.
I do not have any disks or software that may have came with the computer
Have you made your recovery discs? Check in your programs list under maintenance. If not make them, that should also let your restore to factory condition.
Can you take a screen shot of your disk management window and post it please.
InformationWe always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?
