Unable to reinstall Windows 7 - no partitions showing up

Hello. My Windows started causing me problems and it was unable to boot. But when I decided to reinstall it, the setup showed me that I have no partitions on my hard drive. After that I started Partition Wizard Bootable CD and it showed that my two local drives (C: and D: ) were still there with all files on them, but they had letters like "*". What can I do to fix this problem and reinstall my OS? Any help is appreciated.

Can you post back a camera snap of the PW boot CD drive map and listings after maximizing window?

Then work through these steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start
which try everything that can be done to repair and restart Win7, leading up to if necessary rescuiing your files and running Factory Recovery or Clean Reinstalling.
