Windows 7: Error When Installing Windows.

I have already tried booting from a USB stick but I still get the same errors.

I didn't try to create a partition, the partition showed up in Windows Installer, and it came back with the same error.

The Laptop (Samsung Q320) didn't come with a manual. And I have looked on the motherboards support webpage which didn't show of any EFI Boot Disk. Although, I am not sure if I looked at the right motherboard as I don't know how to find out the motherboard's model.

In the case of an OEM PC you'd look for the Manual on the Samsung Support Downloads webpage for your model.

Did you try to run Samsung Factory Recovery from the key given for it at boot or Recovery Disks you made when you set up the PC? It will be too late if you've already run the Clean command.

Where did you get the Windows 7 installation ISO and how is it burned to DVD?

It's not clear you ran the Commands I gave you earlier to clean, format a partition and mark Active. Did you?

Yes I ran the commands you gave me earlier.

The original HDD had obtained a fault, so I replaced it with the same model last year.

Are you reinstalling the same way you did to the replacement HD then? What is different?

I'm reinstalling the same way.

I recently downloaded Windows 8 which I burned to a disc. I booted from the disc. When I reached the same step I'm stuck at now, I formatted the drive, thinking that I had to do this to install Windows as it wouldn't pass this step when I originally tried it. After formatting the drive I received the error as mentioned previously. So, I tried to reinstall Windows 7 from the disc that I had previously used when replacing the HDD, and still received the same error. And now I can't get rid of this error.

Try the latest official ISO for your licensed version burned to DVD using the tool in Steps 1/2 in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which steps you should be following to get a perfect OEM reinstall.

If it fails try the same tool writing ISO to flash stick, set HDD first to boot in BIOS setup, trigger stick by tapping HP ESC boot menu key at boot, look for it under USB, Removable or HD's.
