reinstalling windows 7 on a netbook

    reinstalling windows 7 on a netbook


    my netbook encountered a problem and i am now re-installing windows 7 ..
    and i want to retain the files in it.

    then, where should i install windows 7?

    there are two disk
    Disk 0 Partition 1: System Reserved -> total size is 232.9 GB (this is where my files are)
    Disk 0 Unallocated space -> 65.2 (empty)

    how do i retain my files?
    i only want to have 1 partition like here in Clean Install Windows 7

    can u tell me what to do? thaaaaanks! :)

    no. i dont have access to my files. i cant back up them
    just tell me where to save windows 7 and how can i retain my files (which will move to windows.old) and remove the 64GB partition

    you can close this now mods. =_= problem solved.
    i installed windows 7 on the 1st partition (i cant delete it so i can have clean install. i cant delete it 'coz my files are there.)
    after installing.. i back up my files.
    then..
    i reinstall windows again.
    i followed this:
