| | System recovery incomplete, now stuck. Ok, so I tried to do a system recovery aka factory reset on my Laptop w/ Windows 7. It seemed to go ok, but at the end it said that the system recovery failed. The only option I have is to retry, which doesn't yield any results. Now I can't boot up windows 7, it automatically goes to the system restore/recovery screen. What do I do now? |

| | I was convinced I wouldn't have to use those. I had the recovery partition on an external HDD, but I couldn't go out to get DVDs today, it being sunday 'n all. So I downloaded a Windows 7 iso from microsoft, put it onto a USB stick using WinToFlash, and reinstalled Windows 7 entirely. My laptop's working again! |
