Please post a screenshot of Disk Management, window maximized amd columns/panes adjusted to reveal maximum info.

Edit: never mind, I see it's already been requested. As Greg mentions, though, it would be good to post it even though you seem to be fixed up.

You can extend the 30gb C partition into some of the space on D using the new Partition Wizard
extend function which allows you to advance C to the right by however much space you want to take from D.

Install the latest free Partition Wizard home version and follow these steps: How to extend partition easily with partition magic – Partition Wizard video help.

You will see how it looks on the drive map after clicking OK before you Apply the step.

    Back up your files first.

Ray, are you saying that merely disabling Secure Boot will unlock the BIOS so that Win7 can still be installed in EFI mode? UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with - Windows 7 Forums

If this is the case, Secure Boot might not be an actual Lock then but just a setting to adjust in BIOS setup before installing another OS?

    Hi Greg
Base YES, but not all BIOS's are the same.
You need reset BIOS the to default.

So I would not call it a BIOS lock then, but a protective feature which is adjustable in BIOS.

This has been softened considerably from what was originally announced, probably because of uproar and sensitivity to how courts have ruled in the past when OEM's tried to lock down their BIOS - a property infringement.
