Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image
Thank you :)
info: I have created D: partition afterwards, since I wasn't able to do so while in installation process, but as far as I know thats normal.
1. Formated USB to bootable UEFI
2. Set USB as first in boot priority, BIOS second and Windows last.
3. Disabled Fast Boot and Secure Boot Control.
4. Enabled USB Legacy Support, Launch CSM, Launch PXE OpROM.
5. Followed Windows installation instructions, recreated disk partitions, finished installation.
Thats what I've done.
Looks good. How is performance? You can try Fast Boot again to test the difference.
Will this work for my Asus X550LA-SI50402W laptop? I could not get into the BIOS by just pressing F2 at POST, according to their eManual. Thanks.
Can you boot into Windows 8? If so you'll need to Boot to UEFI Firmware Settings from inside Windows 8 in order to access the settings you need to change - which will be at least disabling Secure Boot on the Security tab.
Once you've saved that setting, boot via Startup Options Menu - Boot to in Windows 8 into the Win7 installation disk
Then select UEFI DVD drive to boot the disk, delete all partitions during the booted install, create New as you wish or just click Next to let Win7 format an install partition. Clean Install Windows 7
If using flash stick install with a verified ISO image, the stick should be formatted using Option One of UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows then choose stick as a UEFI device in same boot menu.
If you receive any errors or failure please report back exact wording and/or behavior.
Thank you for your instructions. I forgot to mention I have the Windows 7 install on a bootable flash drive.

The first time I tried to run the install, I think the OS error said the digital something could not be verified. What does that mean?
It means you should follow the steps I just gave you exactly and report back results.
If you haven't yet disabled Windows 8 Secure Boot in BIOS then you are not going to install anything except Win8.
Downgrade Windows 8 to Windows 7
