    Need help reinstalling windows 7 and Bootmgr is misssing


    Hello everyone, I have a HP G62-225DX laptop. about a month ago my screen went blue and when I restarted it, a message saying hard disk does not exist appeared. took it to a repair shop to be replaced with 250 gb sata drive.
    Now when I start it "Bootmrg is missing" appears, and when i try to put in my recovery disks nothing happens. Someone please help!

    Try Cleaning the HD Drive, using Step one in this tutorial:
    SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation
    & than Reboot PC.

    To install from your HP Recovery Disks.

    Another option to get a much leaner and more responsive Win7 install is to follow these steps to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. Everything is provided in the blue link.
