retrieving cd key from windows.old file

    Hi,

I just installed Windows 7, using clean install.

A windows.old folder was created, but I can't open the office 2003 applications (excel, word, powerpoint, etc.) Office 2003 came installed with my computer (Vista Home Premium), and it is NOT a trial version.

Everytime I try it to open any microsoft office app, the computer gives me this message:
"The Operating System is not presently configured to run this application".

I want to reinstall the program that I used in vista previously. I tried using the magical jelly bean application. When I run magical jelly bean, I only get the cd-key for Windows 7 and nothing else.

How do I retrieve the cd keys from the windows.old file?

The Office Suite was intended to be used with Vista as a part of the OEM installation. Once you installed Windows 7 using a clean install you became ineligible to continue using the Office Suite. Just retrieving the key will not do you any good, as the key is for an OEM OS and not a clean install... Sorry mate...
