Fill in your System Specs in bottom left corner of post.

Did you do everything in Post #3? Go back over it and make sure you didn't miss any step or command.

Set the HD first to boot in BIOS setup, then trigger the flash stick to boot using one-time BIOS Boot menu key at boot.

Plug the target HD alone into Disk0 slot.

Do you have an EFI BIOS? If so try UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with - Windows 7 Forums. If not you need to make sure Secure Boot is turned off and Legacy BIOS is enabled, then Clean the disk again and run "Convert MBR" command before trying install.

This can also be due to the flash stick installer. Can you try another DVD drive (and yes I know your DVD drive doesn't work, which is why I said "another DVD drive" ), an external DVD drive, or try another flash stick? If not try writing to stick using the latest official ISO with UltraISO Software To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive.

The steps in Post #3 ask you to report back the exact step where install fails and the error message you receive.

Try writing the confirmed ISO for your licensed version to flash stick using UltraISO Software To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive which never fails.

Boot the flash stick by setting it first to boot in BIOS setup or tapping the Compaq boot menu key at boot to select flash stick. Does it appear by name? Look for it under HD's, USB, or Removable.

Once you boot in follow the steps in Post 3 to wipe the HD first. Then viruses are not a concern.

Remember to adjust the settings in BIOS setup first as written in Post 3.

Confirm you have done all of these steps so we can help you better.
