| | how can I restore my computer? Hello SevenForums, I am selling my laptop. I need to completely delete everything from my computer apart from the os. I there actually a way to do this or will I have to restore it to factory settings? If I have to restore to factory settings will the serial for windows 7 64 bit still work on this computer if I go and get a windows 7 disk? Is the serial tied with this computer? Many thanks |

| | Hello Cone, Doing a factory recovery would be the easiest way to wipe everything out since you are selling the laptop. Yes, the key number on the COA sticker would still be good to activate the laptop with.  |
