Where did you get Win7 Ultimate? How is it being activated?

You might want to start over and follow these same steps to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 avoiding the language packs you don't need to keep the size on SSD smaller.

Link your data by copying User folders to HD, rightclick on each to add to the related Library - Include a Folder - Windows 7 Forums

If you don't use Hibernate turn it off: Hibernate - Enable or Disable - Windows 7 Forums

You can also set the paging file to around 2gb without any performance problems: Virtual Memory Paging File - Change - Vista Forums

Hey gregrocker, thanks for all the tips. I will most definitely try those to see if it helps. I did move my user profile over to the HDD just save space, but I will probably end up doing a fresh install of Windows just to make sure everything is how it should be. All my stuff is backed up so it won't be a pain.

This article will tell you about Trim (not an acronym but a command) and the way Win handles garbage collection. Whilst it's not a defragging mechanism it still needs space to move blocks of data around.
