| | Cant install Windows 8 - Says it needs 2gb of ram when I have 8gb Hi. I have Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate installed and activated. I am trying to upgrade to Windows 8 and the upgrade assistant tells me it needs at least 2gb when I have 8gb and Windows 7 sees and knows I have 8gb I am thinking it could be my bios, but it's already at the latest version Here are some photos from my bios, so you can tell me if there is anything I need to enable. | | Can you remove all but 2GB then do the install? That has resolved problems like this before. Once installed, put all the memory back in and it should work fine. |
