Well then, you would start by installing windows 98 first on say a 40 GB partition, then install Windows 7 on the rest of the drive or however you want to set it up.
You could use the Partition Wizard Boot cd to delete the drive clean then make your partitions.
Simply download the Partition Wizard iso file, then burn it to dvd using Imgburn or Nero.
Boot the pc with the PW disc in the tray to make your partitions. Partition Wizard Bootable CD allows user to manage partition directly with partition manager bootable CD. http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download The Official ImgBurn Website | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built by Me ! 98 won't run. You cannot find the drivers for your PC. Virtual is the only way to go. Try this (works very well for me): VMware Player - Install Windows 8 -- Just choose 98 in lieu of /8. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

I think you have to go virtual because of the driver problem. Did you try VMware or Virtual Box. Here are a couple of tutorials. They are for Windows 8, but everything should be the same. The only difference is that you have to select 98 in lieu of Windows 8 when you configure the virtual partition (in step #5). http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2899-vmware-player-install-windows-8-a.html http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2241-virtualbox-install-windows-8-a.html
PS: I would try VMware first. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 Can you help me with step by step for dual booting Windows 98 and 7? problems?
