Can't boot from CD. Please help!

I have windows 7 RC installed on my pc. I want to install win XP, but i can't. I insert win XP SP3 installation disc in CD/DVD ROM, restart my pc, but it doesn't boot from it. I already set up BIOS correctly, so it MUST boot from disc, but nothing happens, windows starts normally. Please help me, what am i doing wrong???

Is it a bootable Disc in other computers, When you get the message for a few seconds "press any key to boot from CD" do you press the spacebar or enter key ?

This can be a simple problem to solve by changing the boot devices in your BIOS usually in the bios it has the maid drive booting first and the cd rom drives after that.......you need to change this to CD first and then hard disk.
