I use this to put the iso on a flash drive, works perfectly.

WiNToBootic - the ultimate Windows 7/8 USB Boot Disk Maker

You have downloaded the iso from the link in the tutorial and you have confirmed the size, correct ?

And you are using a 4 Gig flashdrive, correct ? Don`t you have a blank dvd ? It`s just sooo much easier if you haven`t got the flash stick install down yet.

You started this 3 weeks ago and you haven`t got it yet !!!

As long as you stick with the tools and methods in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
then you'll get and keep a perfect install. These Best Practices are based on tens of thousands of installs we've helped with here.

yeah well the recovery step threw me. i didnt realize it was optional, i thought it was necessary as part of the install.

UGH posting this again! okay! i got an error when booting with the installer. windows loads, then it says "no device drivers were found, make sure that thei nstallation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK.

i know you guys are going to say to reinstall the boot, but im 99% certain the program itself installed fine. remember wheni tried to use the windows installer i got an error saying could not install bootsect. i used a third party program recommended here.

is it safe to remove the boot installer and plug it into my other computer without turning off the laptop and then turning it back on with the installer again?

anyways, what do i do?

it sees the program btw, i can browse and see the boot but windows doesnt like it apparently.

The error almost always means the installer is written wrong or the ISO is bad.

Confirm the ISO integrity or download another, then write to stick using UltraISO Software To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive which always works for me when the others fails.
