Want to rmove XP as no longer need dual boot

Hi All I have a dual boot Win 7 and XP, I want to remove the XP as I no longer use it. Both are active and on seperate discs, can I just format the disc?
I have used easy BCD to edit the boot menu so only Windows 7 default yes

Hi,
yes, you should only format the partition (or disk) where Windows XP is installed.

Keep in mind that the boot loader should be in Windows 7's partition, or your pc won't boot anymore after formatting.

Post screenshot of disk management with all fields visible. Do it from within Windows 7

So winxp is already deleted from Boot menu.... it doesn't display a menu anymore and boots Windows 7 automatically? If so... that part has been done. I hope bcd and bootmgr are on Windows 7 physical disk. I have to see disk management to know it

Please post back a screenshot of your maximized Disk Management drive map and listings:

1. Type Disk Management in Start Search box.
2. Open Disk Mgmt. window and maximize it.
3. Type Snipping Tool in Start Search box.
4. Open Snipping Tool, choose Rectangular Snip, click New, draw a box around full drive map and all listings.
5, Save Snip, attach using paper clip in Reply Box.

Tell us what is on each partition.
