    Windows 7 Installation error

    Hi,
I have tried to install windows 7 a couple of times on my SamsungRV409 laptop,
But at the end of every installation after the Dialog Box "Windows is finalizing your installation".. an error shows up:
    "Logon Process error"
    "Client Error".
And then my Laptop Logs off and reboot on itself, and it doesn't start up.
i Have refered to many internet threads regarding the same,
    but nothing is working out.
    Please help..

Where did you get Win7? Did you burn the disk yourself?

Are you preserving the Recovery partition which is necessary if you saved the Recovery Image to an external device and ever want to boot it, or did you already make your Recovery disks which are the only other way to factory recover to the Samsung's factory condition?

If you don't care about ever going back to factory condition, or made the Recovery Disks already, then I'd wipe the HD which may be what is blocking install: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

Its a new installation so the Hardisk is completely unallocated,
And i have done the "HDD Optimize for windows reinstallation" too.
But everytime at the end of the installation there is the same error with every OS.

    1. Is the HDD on your Samsung Laptop new? (meaning whether you had replaced the original HDD that came with it.)

    2. What was the original Windows installation on that laptop and what happened to it?

    3. You still haven't answered gregrocker's " Where did you get Win7? Did you burn the disk yourself?" query.

    4. Do you have a genuine Windows 7 Media with a valid product key?

This error seems more germane to running Recovery disks than a Win7 installer. So we do need to know where you got Win7, how it was burned, and if you have tried from flash stick.

No its not new HDD, it was the old one in the Laptop when i first bought it.
The original Installation was Win7 Ult.
I purchased an original Windows 7 Home premium the key is valid i guess, but the installation never gets completed. there is an error at the end of every installation.
Still can't figure out the problem.

Reset the BIOS to defaults: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS

While in BIOS set SATA controller to AHCI to try install.

Unplug all other peripherals and HD's.

Wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean Command from DVD Repair console Command Line.

If the installation fails, report back or google the verbatim error text to see how others have solved it. This is a highly unusual error.

However when installs fail at the end it is often over a driver failure. You can enter the Device Manager to uninstall any drivers in error (typically Display) to force install to complete then update driver from desktop. Device Manager - Access During Windows 7 Installation

I have tried setting SATA controller to AHCI in BIOS.
And hv done the diskpart which took me more than 2 hrs to complete.
i haven't tried the device manager while installation its somethng new.
i hv GFX nvidia Geforce 512Mb. do u think that might be causing the problem??..
Hope it will work this time..
