Si, can the 3 Registration Entries folders in .bin be deleted to avoid the various modifications made to .iso, and only slip the Updates in?
You and I may like these but I feel better having a pristine updated Win7 ISO install to others' PC's.
I am still getting no version choices at the beginning for v.7.7.
v.5 was able to dismount the .wim, confirms it is dismounted, and does offer version choices.
Just download the exe from the link ( where it says Bitte Hier kilcken ).
Then install Vista, and run the exe you downloaded.
Thanks, Si.
After trying v.5 twice for UEFI flash stick written from upgraded ISO with Rufus, I am getting both times "Required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing" error which almost always means a bad installer.
The source ISO is good because using it alone does not create the error. It seems to be become corrupted in the Updating process, which I have followed exactly as done many times before with only the hibernate settings commented out and Start page changed to about:blank.
Any ideas?
Sounds like the wim information is incomplete. No idea what that has to do with updates, though.
Try exporting the updated image using gimagex for example.
