Can not transfer HDD to SSD

Help me people I have tried almost everything to transfer the OS to the new SSD. I have tried it exactly as the tutorial explains. And I have tried it with EaseUS with no luck.

I shrank C to 50 GB, then put an image on another drive. If I try to put the image on the ssd it keeps telling me there are no drives present to do the recovery process. The ssd is in the bios and shows from windows. I`ve tried it with unallocated space, still no luck.

When I start over I now get the message "The arguments specified for this command are not valid. during diskpart.

I can create a partition and mark it active with partition wizard and install windows from a dvd, but I really don`t want to do that.

I am at a loss here and just can`t understand why it won`t install from the image.

I just used my backup image to install on another hard drive, so I know restoring from the image works perfectly. I think there`s something up with this OCZ ssd. It won`t let me go through the diskpart commands and now if I try to install straight from the dvd it takes over 45 minutes to expand the windows files, then after the 1st reboot the install just freezes up. I can`t believe I`m gonna have to return this disk.

Diskpart keeps saying there`s 0 B`s free of 119 GB

    Ugh !!

Update: Somehow I managed to install the image on the ssd. Now hard disk sentinel is telling me trim is disabled on this ssd. I used the command prompt and it shows trim is enabled in windows. The firmware on the ssd is also up to date.

Performance is shown at only 80%

Are these scores good, bad ??

Try using the SSD for a few days to see if it improves any, my M4 got better with use. If yours doesn't I'd return it for replacement.

I`m still getting the message " The TRIM feature of the SSD is supported but disabled, from hard disk sentinel.

And it`s not asking me to re-run the WEI assessment. It should be grayed out asking me to rerun it.

OK now disk transfer rate went from 5.9 to 7.0 but shouldn`t it be higher ?

Performance is only at 80% according to Hard Disk Sentinel and are these scores good, bad ?

Over the years of my company building systems, we no longer recommend OCZ drives. We do still have them as options, because customers asked for them when we removed them as options though.

Out of all of the SSD brands we supply, OCZ has the absolute highest failure rate at almost 30%.

Intel has a 0% failure rate in the systems we have shipped, same with Samsung. We cringe every time we get an order requesting an OCZ drive. Their QC is pretty subpar.

That`s wonderful, but how does that help me ?

Diskpart shows the ssd is aligned correctly and windows says TRIM is enabled.

But the scores have gone up.

    I would post here:
Vertex 4, Agility 4, Octane and Petrol SSD drive support.

    They are very helpful.

I think disk sentinel is lying to you since w7 says trim IS enabled.
Try logging off and leave it on that screen overnight to see if your numbers improve, the AS SSD score is really too low. Your read/write in 4K and access times are great.
