Ya, I ordered the black ones with clips. Hey I got a phone call from OCZ, nice people, they say that the nvidia chipsets were flakey, I guess that`s why they do graphics huh. LOL. He said if I wanted I could slap a sata 2 pci card on it and see what happens. I think I`ll save my pennies for a new board, as many of you have told me. I`m sure I can get something good for $200. And I already have 8 gigs of ddr3 1066.

It`s amazing how computer gear gets outdated by the time it hits the shelf.

I think your board is over two years old with a LGA775 socket. This is a valid excuse reason to upgrade to a Z77 board and Ivy Bridge CPU.

    Hi there
The SSD score is far too low on your machine with those numbers.

Here's mine -- on a really "El Cheapo" laptop. I'm sure the SSD is just "Idling" in this laptop but it sure makes the Windows performance great. The 4k speed isn't that great -- well that's to be expected on this laptop - but overall the performance is just fine for the job the SSD has to do.
The SSD is over one year old too.

    Cheers

There's the difference between controllers Addram, Jimbo has an Intel one. Here's one of my better ones with the M4 128GB.

    Hi there
Not only computers -- A Car is already out of date before it even ARRIVES into the showroom.

@Britton30 -- True -- but the laptop was really an old cheapo one I use a lot on travels as it's so portable --and if I lose or break it it's almost nothing to replace. Performance is more than adequate for me so that other drive of yours would be really great in decent gear. A faster SSD in this case wouldn't actually buy me anything with the set of hardware its installed in (on ?).

    cheers
