Can I upgrade the RC to Home Premium

    Downgrade: Change Windows 7 Ultimate to Premium or Professional

    Can anyone verify this? Also, the claim made elsewhere that any activated OS can be upgraded/downgraded using this method, including RC?

    This sounds "too good to be true". Find it hard to believe that MS would overlook a set of trivial changes like these. Anyone actually try this and confirm that it works?

    Unfortunately, even this way, Windows 7 Ultimate RC cannot be upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium

    Read this from a member of Win7 Team to understand why in-place Upgrade of RC is a bad idea; do a clean install instead from the desktop, or booting the Win7 installer.
