    dual boot help?

hey guys its me again with another problem. I was trying to install Ubuntu on a external hdd, and it installed succesfully. Then I rebooted, and gnu grub booted. It said click tab to show commands. I did and commands go flying on the screen, and I turn force power off my PC. I reboot and it says win 7 or Ubuntu.. When I move the arrow key down, the white highlight with which you control the arrow keys kept moving up and down by it self and I had to power off. I deleted Ubuntu files and the OS in msconfig but it still shows. Please help!

never mind. Instead of just deleting the files, actually use the wubi uninstaller guys. Hopefully this serves as a lesson for you guys.
