Hi, I tried that, both DEL and ESC, but all I see is the option at start to press f2 for setup, then Acer logo then Linux?
Is there another way to get the Bios?

Try the F10 key instead. What menu is shown if you use F2?

    OK Update.

I needed in this window to move the USB up the list to No 1, now it is booting

I will let you know, thanks

    F10 is the same.

F2 = Insyde H20 setup utility with tabs Info, Main, Security, Boot and Exit across the top

On ACER you can also press F12 (don't know if true for all acers). After pressing F12 you can select where to boot from ONCE.

You have a valid win7 product key?? Where did you buy win7?

If win7 has been installed check for windows updates. And driver updates. If still some unknown devices in "device manager"... run Need to know the hardware on your system to choose the right drivers

Missing drivers/applications can be found on www.acer.com . (drivers and manuals section). Select "netbook, ultrabook" then "Aspire" then "Aspire 5738Z". Click drivers tab and applications tab

Also install Acer launch manager. What is acer launch manager

OK I have tried to start install 3 times now, it restarts back at the same install window with language setup, etc??

My MS sticker on the Disk box shows Win 7 Pro OEM X16- 93649, I could not find this one, so I downloded ISO X17-59183 ? Could this be the issue now?

I am trying to install on Acer Aspire D 257, not this one 5738Z.
