Should be the same as to Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP

Install 2003 first. You'll know right away if it can see the HD or if it needs the SATA Drivers - Slipstream into Windows XP CD.

Once it's installed boot WIn7 installer to create the second partition you should leave space for during previous install. It will configure the Dual Boot menu, or else install EasyBCD to 7 to add 2003.

Did you slipstream the SATA drivers into an XP w/SP3 CD using theog's tutorial?

Where did you find the drivers?

This is required unless you have floppy support to add the SATA Drivers - Load in Windows XP Setup on Dual Boot

    Hi there
If you can't find XP SATA drivers try getting them from Driverpacks

    News | DriverPacks.net

    READ THE DOCUMENTATION THOUGH. !!!

IMO you are much better off running W2003 server as a Virtual Machine though then the whole SATA problem doesn't arise - and on decent hardware the response time on the VM will probably be almost 95% as good as running it in "Native mode" --saves dual boot too.

Here's one of mine -- I'm running this one as a 4GB RAM VM on a Windows 8 Laptop. I use this particular VM principally to run a "MiniSAP" test development stand alone system. I have about 8 / 9 different VM's for all sorts of purposes --saves dual booting etc - and it's very rare that I actually need to run on the REAL Hardware.

    Cheers
