Wanting to dualboot windows 8 and windows 7

I have a UEFI machine and I unable to install Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
    I disabled Secure Boot.
Windows 7 gets to the start orb and then crashes.

I have an AMD a55/a60m motherboard

       Note

When dual booting with Windows 8 Preinstalled & Windows 7

Follow Step one to five in this tutorial:
Downgrade Windows 8 to Windows 7

       Warning
If you shink C: before deleting the OEM Recovery partition, the C: & the new partition may be converted to Dynamic partitions.
You DO NOT WHAT Dynamic partitions.

Take a look at this, ASUS K55

I recently installed WIn7 in a Dual Boot with Windows 8 on that model Asus laptop, and it required booting into UEFI BIOS via the Advanced Boot Options as Theog displayed in order to disable Secure Boot. If this will not work then I would contact Asus Support for the help necessary for entering BIOS setup.

In BIOS setup>Boot tab there will be two settings changes available for Secure Boot. I had to disable the second one before it would change the first one.

You can then either install, or test if Win7 is to your liking in a Dual Boot by shrinking C to create a Logical partition for install.

When I had done this due to other dissatisfaction with the laptop I removed the Dual Boot and returned it. If you run into Problems you can also run Asus Factory Recovery via F8 Repair console.
Than follow this tutorial: (installing in uEFI mode.)
Dual Boot Installation - Windows 8 and Windows 7 or Vista

Where did you get Win7? Did you burn the disk yourself? Try burning another or try UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows.

Does it offer the UEFI DVD drive to boot?

Unplug all other HD's and peripherals.

If it stalls at boot animation after install this could be a driver loading. Try entering Device Manager during install to disable any Devices in error so Win7 will start, then update the driver from desktop. Device Manager - Access During Windows 7 Installation

You should get all drivers not provided by installer during all rounds of Important and Optional Windows Updates, after enabling Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware (Step 3)
