Yeah -- it's FREE --but you have to register with Paragon to get an activation code, or you can't install it, and then, if you read further, there are limitations on using this, including NO upgrades.

For $20, the paid version is a much better deal.

    Thanks Danny.

Installed. Don't know if I'll get to use it though:

Limitations: Note! This version doesn’t include WinPE bootable media required for migration of a 64-bit Windows 7 or later configured to the UEFI boot mode.
Is it saying you can transfer live to all but UEFI but that requires the boot disk which isn't included?

I'll bet SIW2 knows how to make boot disk if needed.

Greg, that function is already your Paragon HDM.

So Paragon HDM freeware will migrate to SSD, even 64 bit WIn7 and later to UEFI?

What is the point of this version then: live migration to SSD for those only need that?

There is no Paragon HDM freeware.

You have the HDM pro version don't you?

Yes, you can buy the os to ssd thing separately if that is all you want.

I don't use Paragon except for my trusty Paragon Adaptive Restore CD from 2010. I use Acronis 2010 with Universal Restore and Win7 backup for imaging.

    Am I missing a lot?

I may need to find a free copy of their Partition Manager for managing UEFI. I think the one I have the boot disk for 2010.
