Is it possible to install Windows 7 on a Windows 8 computer?

    Okay I got past that I had to set the Boot to UEFI only, Thanks.

    Now im getting this file error but uefi usb showed up

    Is it the same file error I got in the link i provided? It was easy to be confused about moving that file. Saltgrass provides the solution there.

    If not then I'd rewrite the flash stick using UltraISO Software To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive which always works for me when the others don't. Then move the file shown exactly as Saltgrass says.

    I am running 7Zip to extract the files to the flash drive and it says i have 27 errors so far. what should I do?

    Download a new ISO. It's likely the problem that your ISO was corrupted somehow.

    I'd also read over the other steps in that tutorial as it has helped tens of thousands of users get a perfect Win7 install, even for retail. Everything we've learned here since before Win7 was even released about what works best is compiled there.

    If this doesn't work and I upgrade to pro, would I then be able to downgrade to windows 7 and dual boot both 8 pro and 7 pro?
