I would use ImgBurn at 4x speed to burn the DVD.

What UEFI listing is showing up for the external DVD?

No. It always works to burn the ISO.

The listing shows an LG DVD burner is being detected as a UEFI boot device. Let's hope it's only the burn.

We are having some bad luck around here lately with UEFI boot Win7 installs. So much is new about UEFI and different with each mobo that I don't know how deep we can dig in our bag of tricks to workaround to a successful install as we've always been able to do with BIOS.

My only issue is I only have a rewritable dvd and not a standard dvdr.

Shouldn't matter unless it's been erased too many times. I just reburned one for about the twentieth time but know I'm pushing it.

Oh well it will be another thing to try if necessary.

I just erased it for the second time. But if it fales again this time ill go buy dvds tomorrow. I went all the way to the store today to buy the drive and didn't for even a second think about needing dvds I do have one bla nk bluray but I think that would be a waste.

No. But if it fails I'd reset BIOS to defaults and check again Secure Boot is disabled.
