If you can't make the flash stick work to install no matter how it is formatted using MS tool, UltraISO, Universal USB Installer, or another method in USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create - Windows 7 Forums then the next step is to borrow a USB DVD drive to try install from DVD. If this fails you may need to take special last-resort measures.

First would be to remove the HD and put it in another laptop it fits to try install, then when you return it to the Acer adjust it to the new hardware using Paragon Adaptive Restore boot CD I'll provide you here to boot and P2P adjust the image: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=365EA77F74A302F6!21223&authkey=!ALVsvQrWSm9tzhM

If this is not practical then install Win7 to a clean HD or to a partition on another PC, save a backup image of the install to external HD using Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

You'd then boot the PAR CD to apply the image while at the same time adjusting it to the new hardware. If this was an image of just a partition it may require Marking Win7 Partition Active then running Startup Repair - Run up to 3 Separate Times to make it bootable.

When WIn7 starts up it will also swap out most of the drivers for others. You may need to supply the wireless driver to get online to get drivers while installing all Important and Optional Updates, after enabling Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware (Step 3)

The other option is to order Recovery media from Acer which is often provided free if within the early months of the one-year free tech support period.

Alright, I will have to try to find a cheap usb dvd drive. Cant believe it is something so stupid that it tries to install it to the thumb drive.

Alright, got the external DVD drive, started to install fine, I came back out to a black screen then the BSOD then reboot. Now whenever I press F12(figured out why it wouldnt open) and selet USB CD-Rom to boot off of, it doesnt even start the windows install it just goes into the option to select safe mode, last known good, normal, etc. Also when I first installed it I forgot to take out the SD Card which I have now done.

Try another USB port, especially if your Netbook has USB 3.0.

Have you set the BIOS to boot the USB DVD drive first as shown in How to Boot A Computer from CD or DVD - YouTube?

Are you getting a prompt to Press Any Key to boot disk?

If not then something is wrong with the disk. Download the latest official ISO for your licensed version and burn to DVD using tool in Steps 1 and 2 of Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
