Windows7 cannot reboot after fresh install

    Windows7 cannot reboot after fresh install


    My platform is XP with Q6600 cpu and DFI infinity P965 MB, after fashly installed Windows7 either in 32bit or 64bit, the Win7 cannot reboot after the POST, can someone tell me what is wrong and any solution?

    Post a picture of your Disk Management and tell us which partition is supposed to be Windows 7. Make sure all fields on the picture are expanded so that the whole entries can be read.

    Are you booting the installer as shown in Clean Install Windows 7?

    Make your XP Recovery disks first or save an image backup so you can revert if necessary. Run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

    Then delete all partitions during install to create New as you wish.
