How to un-install Ubuntu and Install Windows 7 on HDD

Hello everyone, like everyone i have made the stupid mistake: Installing Ubuntu and deleting Windows 7.
So i need somebody to explain me what i need to do to fully un-install Ubuntu and install WIndows 7.
What i dont understand is what a partition is.
I've read in alot of threads before posting my own that you need to delete some partitions and make a new one with NTFS format.
I know how to format USB's i know NTFS is for HDD's and FAT32 for USB's.
Now Ubuntu and Linux use ext2/ext3/ext4 and swap.
So i've been thinking that my HDD is the partition which i really think is wrong.
Anyways i boot Windows 7 installation from a USB Device( i have the cd but it doesn't work so i downloaded Win7 Ultimate iso burned it on the cd and kept the serial key from the cd)
And when i go to the step which windows ask you were you want them to be installed it doesn't let me to install windows 7 on my HDD or format my HDD (for a reason that i dont know).
So please try to help me, explain some stuff and please dont just reply use F12, im not asking you how to boot them but how to un-install ubuntu, format my hdd and then install win7.
    Thanks

The cleanest method is to move all data off the HD, wipe it with Disk - Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command and then Clean Install Windows 7.

If this fails we have other steps so post back the exact step number and error message at failure.

Hmm... i read the topic and i want to ask something if i open the cmd and i put clean all and i press enter after about 1 and a half hour my entire disk will be erased(i calculated it because my hdd is 500gb), will it also remove my Graphic card drive and stuff like that? And how can i find out what drivers i use if i lose them?

You really only need to run the Clean command, not Clean All. It wipes the boot sector of GRUB code which is what is often needed where Linux has been on the HD. All other data is also wiped.

Drivers are provided in the Win7 installer and once you get online to run all Important and Optional Windows Updates, after enabling Device Installation Settings. Be sure to put your wireless driver in the backup so you can get online quickly to do all rounds of Updates, in case the installer doesn't provide it.

Any drivers missing after all Updates are done can be found on the Support Downloads webpage for your exact PC model or the device. Find your wireless driver there now if you don't have it in your Downloads.

After you install windows, just run windows update. That should take care of any drivers. I personally go directly to the manufacturer`s website to get the video drivers.

I couldn't have been more specific when I wrote out the steps from the tutorial for you. Did you even read them or look at the tutorial to get a perfect install?

Well after i restarted my pc all my drivers were installed somehow.
    I guess i misunderstood .
Also i after reading the tutorial and inserting my usb to my laptop to do the install i saw that it said Partition 01 and 02 and the only thing that the install would let me do is to click delete. So i deleted my HDD's partition 01 and i installed win7 home premium 64bit.Now after booting my display was like and i didn't even have a graphics driver. After restarting everything was fine.
It took me about 3 hours to think that i should restart my laptop.
    :P Thank you everyone
