Can I upgrade windows 7 between different languages ????

    Hey,
Today I wanted to upgrade my Windows 7 from its dvd, but it did not allow me as my Current windows language is German and the dvd is in English.
Now the Question is that if I install the English language pack from Windows Update will I be able to Upgrade ?????

    Thanks in advance.

I did this to be able to install the language pack, but the dll error remains.
So now I thought of restoring. not upgrading.

How are you trying to install the language pack?

You need to have Ultimate installed to use language packs.

OK, if you have Ultimate there is no upgrade.

If you are having problems installing the language pack from windows update, you will get better info if you give better info.

What is the problem you are having? Detailed responses are better than "DLL errors (ntdll.dll)"
