Try downloading all of the drivers from hp's website, and then install them through windows own tool.

Using Hardware Identification we see that it is 0x4353Broadcom Half Mini PCI Express Wifi card / DL15200x14E4 .

So try HP EliteBook 8460p Notebook PC - Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver and Utility - HP Business Support Center.

If that fails run the Troubleshooter on the System Tray icon rightclick context menu.

You can also plug in by cable, enable Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3) and have a 70% probability the ethernet driver is in the Win7 Driver Store and will install itself - there's only a 50% probability the wireless driver is in installer or Driver Store until SP2.

Then run all rounds of Important and Optional Windows Updates to get all other drivers and needed Performance and Security updates.

Import any remaining missing in Device manager from the HP webpage, tracing Hardware ID if needed.

More tips here to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. If the PC has a COA sticker with a Win7 Product Key on it then that key is tied to that PC for life and can be reinstalled as often as you please, saving the retail key for elsewhere.

I'm afraid the Intel didn't work - downloading Broadcom now!

Once you're online enable Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3) then run all Important and Optional Windows Updates to completion. After requested reboots, go right back to Check for more Updates. You can set up your desktop during this period.

After all Updates are complete, check Device Manager for any missing Devices. Trace these with Hardware Identification to determine which driver from the HP Downloads page it is, or post it back for our help.

But I would read over carefully the steps in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 including the Special Notes for HP Owners to see how close you are coming to a perfect install as you may want to start it over.
