Installing Ubuntu 13.04 with Windows 7

I have a Dell laptop. I want to do a dual install, first Windows 7 followed by Ubuntu 13.04.
I would like to know if Ubuntu 13.04 installs as it normally does when installing with Windows 7.
I know Ubuntu 13.04 does not install easily with Windows 8 so I am curious about Windows 7.
I am not looking for any information on installing Ubuntu with Windows 8. I am only interested in installing Windows 7 and Ubuntu 13,04.
If anyone is interested, I have tried Windows 8 and absolutely despise so much about it.
    Thank you

Here are the instructions I use to set-up dual boots...

    Ubuntu Guide

A user may experience problems dual-booting Ubuntu and Windows. In general, a Windows OS should be installed first, because its bootloader is very particular. A default Windows installation usually occupies the entire hard drive, so the main Windows partition needs to be shrunk, creating free space for the Ubuntu partitions...

All right, thank you for the replies. Now all I have to do is get Windows 7. This hasn't proven to be that easy here in Israel. I guess I will try the Internet.
    Again, thank you.

Your specs say that Win7 Home Premium came on the HP All-in-one. Is this correct? If so then everything you need is here to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

    Hi jrj350,

If you are using a dell system then you can download the Windows 7 and install it using the product key on the COA label of your system:

Windows 7 Professional 'N' versions, where to find download?

You can also make a backup using Dell Datasafe software from the link below:

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.

Why not just install Ubuntu IN Windows? You install it like any program, restart the computer and it asks if you want Windows or Ubuntu, and if/when you're ever done with Ubuntu you start Windows and uninstall it like a program too. Installing Ubuntu with the Windows installer | Ubuntu This way no messing with bootloaders, well, it does mess with the bootloader, but is much safer to revert with this in the event of issues.
EDIT: Sorry the second I posted that I saw in the link it says no 13.04 support. My bad.
