    windows 7 don't load

    Hi guys,
here's my case.I had Vista bussines, which started causing some problems )blue screen, it worked in a safe mode). I've decided to install windows 7, clean install.

After intallation I have this strange problem. The windows won't load. It starts loading, then goes to blue screen and restarts the computer. The same happens if I choose the safe mode. If I choose to boot from CD/DVD, it doesn't show me the INSTALL SCREEN, but it starts loading windows and the loop continuous.

    The blue screen content:

    UNMONTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

    STOP: 0x000000ED (0x85297980, 0xc0000185, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Any idea how can I reinstall or repair windows 7?

    Thx for any help.

    Hi theog,

the problem is the windows don't load completely. They restart after "Starting windows" part. So i can't even log. It's just endless loop, which I don't know how to stop.

Is there a way to run the setup.exe outside the windows?

Do you have the same problem with a clean installation of Windows Vista?

Maybe you have some hardware issues. It might help to fill out your system specs (see the link below your post that says "My System Specs" > "Update ..")

You probably should have spent some time resolving the blue screen problem in Vista, since it appears a fresh install does not help.

Maybe there are some loose connections, video card not seated or heat problems. Could your hard drive be going out?

When you boot from the DVD, do you have it set to first priority in the bios? You should be getting a "boot from DVD" message.

If you can't find any other problems, new hard drives are not that expensive. You might try that or even wipe the old one and try again.

Booting from your install DVD will allow you to repair your install. Have you tried that?

I did try boot from my DVD. It's starts from DVD (press any key to boot from dvd...) and after that it starts loading windows instead of opening an istall page.

Try extracting all the files from your DVD/ISO to a separate partition/drive and run the setup.exe from there...

That is normal after the files are uncompressed. DO NOT CLICK BOOT TO DVD, let it continue to HDD and finish the install.

    Hi, guys,
thx for all your suggestion. But none of them worked. The loop continues. The DVD I'm using is a original DVD form MS (Windows 7 release candidate).
