    Hardware upgrade, reinstall windows? Problems

    Hello guys.

Today I will buy a new motherboard, processor and memories. I will upgrade all that on my computer.

I know that Windows have some problems on hardware upgrades. Like not start, not work.

What should I be worried? Do I need to perform any action?

If the windows not start, can I fix it using a Windows 7 DVD?

    Thanks

What type of Windows 7 licence do you have - OEM, or Retail?

I have a retail one. But the problem it's not license, it's that the windows won't boot after hardware upgrades, is there any tip to fix it?

    Thanks

Its likely you will need to perform a clean install, but since you have a retail Windows 7 that is not a problem. You could also try a re0apir install from the DVD too.
