Hi guys,

MSI B75MA-E33 motherboard
Crucial Ballistix RAM 4GB
Kingston Hyper X 3K 120gb SSD
Intel G620 CPU

on install of windows 7 i keep receiving the following error:

Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected
to your computer.

This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an external USB drive while the device is in use, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-ROM drive that is failing.

Make sure any removable storage is properly connected and then restart your computer.
status: 0cx00000e9
info: An unexpected I/O error has occurred

following action taken.
switched out CD/DVD drive (same error with second CD/DVD drive)
switched out mobo (same error)
Updated the bios (same error)
changed over the RAM (same errror)
Changed over the Hard Drive (new SSD and then tried out SATA drive - same error)

not sure where to go from here?

cant see it being the keyboard or mouse?

Sounds like you booting the Windows 7 x64 in Legacy mode, not UEFI mode.

MSI UK ? Motherboard - B75MA-E33

As the MSI B75MA-E33 motherboard has a uEFI/BIOS firmware.
How to install Windows 64 bit on a uEFI/BIOS firmware:
UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with
or
UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 8 with
