Installed the Upgrade from within the RC Just installed the student upgrade version of Windows 7 professional which came as a .exe file from within RC x64 7232. It allowed me to do a clean install on another partition without changing my RC.
So now I have the RC and retail installed and had no need to upgrade from vista or XP so I am happy . | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 x64 RC CPU AMD Phenom2 @ 3.5Ghz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-DS4H Memory 4 x 1GB DDR2 1000MHz Graphics Card AMD 4850HD Sound Card Creative Audigy 2 Monitor(s) Displays 24" LCD Screen Resolution 1920 x 1200 PSU 1kW OCZ |

No, he's saying he found the upgrade within a RC version he has, which is hard to believe. | My System Specs | | OS Win 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Athlon x2 6000 3.1ghz Motherboard MSI Memory 4gb DDR2 800 Graphics Card ATI Radeon 4870 Sound Card Lexicon recording Interface USB 2.0, 2 KRK RP5" monitors Monitor(s) Displays 32" Samsung HDTV via HDMI |

As soon as you get it set up as you like, be sure to use the great new Windows 7 Backup Imaging to Create an Image you safeguard externally, so you will never need to reinstall again, since the RC will expire and not be available to use for reinstall after June 1. | My System Specs | | |
