    USB install Question / Help

Hey all. Been trying to install windows 7 with usb for a few days now i keep getting and error saying cd or drive missing just as install starts. Now i have looked around on the net for a fix or solution but nothing.. Tried removing memory, downloaded the iso few times from different sites also different sources. Tried different apps to create usb boot and also different usb memory sticks. Each time same freaky error. Please any pointers or help. Thanks in advance.

The method which always works for me is to write the confirmed ISO to stick using Universal USB Installer
with Win7 in dropdown, then boot the stick under USB, Removable or HD's.

Thanks for the replies but have downloaded clean iso's from our partner account with m$ and have also tried bout 4 different applications to create usb boot memory sticks as i have said in first cry. Will try the Universal USB installer shortly and report back. Thanks again.

From the first post, it sounds like the computer might not be seeing the HD or CD. Might be controller problem.

Maybe your USB is bootable but i wouldn't know.
Please do the following and transfer the contents of the .iso to the USB
Please do make sure that USB boot is enabled in BIOS, some board may not support

I've selected disk "5" but it may be different for you.
Please select accordinglly and the "assign letter" part is totally up to you :)
