Windows Easy Transfer will save most settings from the User's AppData files, but it's not always reliable and settings are a corruption path into a fresh install.

If you don't care about that then you can image your current install over. I'd look into SSD - Install and Transfer the Operating System

How complicated and time consuming could those settings even be? I would take a snip of the settings or write them down and go for it. This seems to be a small issue for the gain of the SSD which is going to blow your mind at every stage of it's use !

I use a very advanced paid player called Media Monkey and I've clean installed and set it up dozens of times and as long as I have my music files it's only some fine tuning and skins away but even without those changes the basic use is the same. Are you talking about your music......is it backed up? What is a classic folder? Can you provide a screen shot of what you're trying to save?

Looks like you may have to have that friend over for dinner or drinks or both. Or you can take snips of all the changes and then refer to same to adjust.
