Boot into BIOS setup to see if the HD is detected. If not reseat, reinstall or if necessary replace the HD until it appears.

If so the error almost always means the installer is bad. Try another ISO for your licensed version from Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 but this time write to stick with UltraISO Software To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive. Be sure to use the format button first as shown in tutorial steps.

Did you folow the steps in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7exactly? It doesn't sound like it if you are changing out a bunch of drivers.

Which drivers were missing after all rounds of Important and Optional Windows Updates were installed? Where did you import them from?

What is the current Display driver?

The HDD was cleaned with diskpart then i installed windows 7 via a usb as the dvd drive is not working.
After i done all the windows updates (yesterday morning) it installed all the required drivers for the laptop (hp dv6500) since then it seems ok (time will tell)

So to be clear: you are saying that Windows Update provided all of your drivers, correct?

I also asked you what is the currently installed Display driver? Compare it with the one on the HP Support Downloads webpage for your model.
