Windows 7 - Student download not working

HI - got my email with the link to the Digital River Download site, but keep getting either "site not available" or "you have made too many downloads" messages.

Anyone else having problems?

I have downloaded my student pro 32 bit edition without any problems.

Half of the student body probably has that message

Probably tried 15 times and clearing the cookies hasn't helped - the web page has a count in the message that goes up by one every time I try, currently at 50 which is way more than the reality.

Mailed Digital River but not going to hold my breath for a reply! This is for the 64 bit pro version

I am in the same boat, link wouldn't download file, then I tired to many times and started getting that message. Also trying to download pro 64bit.

By constantly trying to ping the dl page you are actually making it less likely that it will be available. We all knew that servers thru out the world would be overloaded, it will clear if you give it a chance

That's good advice, but why is only the 64-bit pro version?

Just received an email from Digital River about my failed download - they have refunded the full costs and I can keep the software (I can now access the download) and the DVD free of charge.

Score one to Microsoft!
