Win7 ultimate installed, downgrade to Pro?

    I think I'd probably also trying to strip out the Digital ID's if you have nothing else to lose and have everything backed up to reinstall anyway. But I'd copy them to a notepad and save it along with the Product ID you already took out.

    Something is telling it that you have Ultimate besides the Edition ID labels.

    If the PC becomes unbootable you can enter System Recovery Options to System Restore or just move to the reinstall.

    You can use this as the opportunity to get a perfect Clean Reinstall Windows 7

    This is totally at your own risk because I've not done this before and don't even know if it will boot afterwards.

    There are two regedit entries above the Edition ID that have Digital ID's
