    Help me solve Reboot and select proper boot device


    hi. I'm john. And i'm from india.
    I need some help about my PC windows 7
    when i turn it on, My PC always says that reboot and select proper device or insert boot media press any key.....
    Help me please.......

    Hello and welcome John first mate some system specs please it really does help if we know what we are working with System Info - See Your System Specs

    I have to assume you have installed 7 onto the hard drive and I am thinking what have you got set in the BIOS as the first boot device? If you know what the BIOS key is on power up then tap it and go to the Boot section and select the hard drive as the first boot device.

    I would Check the hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools.

    Is the HD detected when you boot into BIOS setup, using the function key for that given on first screen?

    If so then test the HD with the bootable HD Diagnostic Extended CD scan.

    If it passes boot into the Win7 DVD or System Repair Disk to run Startup Repair, report back results.
