    Dual Boot Problem with Win7 64bit/XP 32bit

Hi, everyone im new to forums and this is my first computer build. Im thinking I might regret. I was told its better to build ur own, so I did and nothing but problems! I had vista 64 / xp 32 bit bit and was having nothing but problems trying to get my video cards to work right! So someone told me to get Win7 and Ill have no problems. Wrong!!!!!!!
My problem now is that when I turn on the computer it doesn't give me the option to chose which operating system it just loads into Win7. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? When I hit the (my computer) option it sees Xp as the D drive. When I loaded Win7 I just threw the disc in and followed the directions. I didn't reformat anything cause the disc does it for u. Please can I get some help!

First of all thank u for psting back, really appreciate it! I had vista and xp. I didn't remove anything I just loaded the disk in and chose win7 installation over vista. I chose to reformat over my 60gig part C where vista was. It did everything by itself. I found somewhere in here where it says tio install EasyBCD so I did and followed the directions. Now it gos to the dual boot page and I chose XP and it says windows failed to start. To fix the problem 1 insert windows installation disk2chose language settings and then click next. 3 click repair ur computer. Which ive tried this and then it asks for administrative password! Where do I get this, im lost!
Windows 7 and XP C/E r on the same drive.

Hello and welcome to Seven Forums.

Do you have to login with a user account when you start the computer?
If yes, it should be the same password.
If no, then follow this tutorial How to Create, Delete and Modify User Accounts in Windows 7.

Use OPTION ONE: TO CREATE A USER ACCOUNT, in step #3 create an administrator account.

The part of the tutorial with using EasyBCD is METHOD TWO: When Windows 7 is Installed First.
Since you had XP installed already, you didn't need to do this part.

You can run Startup Repair from this tutorial
How to Run a Startup Repair in Windows 7

Let us know if this repairs the XP at boot menu.
