    Windows changes language after crash

    Hello,

I am trying to help a friend of mine with her laptop, the issue is as follows:

    - Her computer crashes, and windows "resets" the language to English. (It should be Danish)
    - I find it that a factory reset is in order, seeing how she has also had problems with trojans and viruses.
    - During reinstall, all language options are set to Danish.
    - After instalation, the OS still displays English, even though all settings are set to Danish in language options.

    Any ideas?

    Specs:
    Windows Home Premium 64-bit
    Packard Bell laptop

    Thanks!

Factory Recovery is a grossly inferior install with all of the bloatware and duplicate utilities that interfere with better versions built into Win7. For that reason most tech enthusiasts won't even run factory preinstalled Win7 but choose instead to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

I would choose the Danish version of the OS license on the COA sticker from Step 1, burned to DVD or written to flash stick with the tool in Step 2. Then stick closely to the steps given using only the tools and methods given and you will get and keep a perfect install for as long as you do.
