Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 UEFI Installation with DVD DL

    Hi,

    I've build a custom installation of WINDOWS 7 Ultimate x64 SP1.
My installation is about 8,3GB and I had to burn it to a DVD Double Layer.
I want to install it to a UEFI system.

I went to BIOS and in the UEFI menu I see the Drive of DVD with the EUFI enabled, but when select this drive to start is begins to start Windows normally.

If I select to start the install from normal option it start to install withou UEFI.

I have burn the iso to a USB PEN and if select the the UEFI option It shows the option from starting the UEFI boot.

I have tried this in three diferent computers and is equal in all.

If I begin a installation with a DVD in UEFI mode it start OK.

IS this a DVD DL problem that cannot start in UEFI?

Are you following the steps for UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with - Windows 7 Forums?

If the unnecessary All-in-one DVD doesn't work correctly then download the ISO for the license you own and burn to DVD from Steps 1 and 2 of Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

To use flash stick also needs special steps for UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows.

If UEFI doesn't work for you then you can always Bypass UEFI to Install WIn7

What is it you're asking exactly? You said you were able to install with single layer DVD. What burner did you use to burn the unnecessary DL DVD?

I've burned the image with Nero 14, Nero 11, Magic ISO, ImageBurn, PowerIso.
I can install Windows in UEFI with USB, and DVD Single Layer.
Only with DVD Double Layer I cant.
In the Bios select the DVD UEFI, but when restarting doestn's start with UEFI boot DVD DL, it start Windows.

    Thanks.
