    Update Windows 8 to 8.1 ...


    hello i update my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 .. but in Windows drive there are to folders named Windows and Windows.old... is both are necessary to run?? or is there any memory consumption???see screen shot for more details..

    This should do the trick

    Windows.old Folder - Delete in Windows 8

    Its the same for Windows 7...

    Make sure you copy any files from Windows Old that you might need & save them, before deleting it. Once it is deleted they will be lost.
